One day's work took this Glasgow living room from a bare wall to a full-height feature. Cubanite has a warm metallic bronze-grey to it, and the brushed-steel detailing catches the light against it. The tone carries evenly across the cabinet doors and the TV backpanel, so the wall looks like one run rather than bits bolted together.
A slim linear electric fire anchors the lower unit, with colour-changing LED to shift the mood. The panel behind the telly lights up on its own for the evenings. All the cabling tucks away inside the cabinets, out of sight. As with everything we make, the owner helped design it at home, and we cut and hand-edged the Egger board at our Linwood workshop before fitting it ourselves.
