A new-build on an estate or an old cottage on the coast, it makes no odds. Made to measure means the wall fits the space you've got, not some size that came off a warehouse shelf.
Over the Forth bridges and we're into Fife, from Dunfermline and the Dalgety Bay commuter belt through Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes to the East Neuk. Coastal cottage or new-build semi, every wall is built to measure for its own room and fitted by our own trades.
Fife's housing is a real spread. The East Neuk villages, Anstruther, Crail and Pittenweem, have the old crow-stepped cottages with pantile roofs, thick stone walls and smaller, lower rooms, so a wall there works round the existing breast and alcoves. Glenrothes, built as a new town, and the commuter estates round Dunfermline are the opposite, open-plan and modern with one flat wall to work with. We build for both, cottage or new-build.
If a fire isn't wanted, doors instead knock £300 off the cabinet, everything else the same. Tall display cabinets can sit down one side or both, 300mm to 1800mm wide.
