A beige textile media wall in Glenrothes

How this wall took shape

This started as a bare wall and was a full-height feature by the time we packed up that day. The face is a warm linen-effect board with a soft fabric grain to it, softer than the stone and concrete looks we usually fit. We keep the grain running the same way across the cabinet doors and the TV backpanel so your eye travels along it without a break.

A wide linear electric fire sits underneath with colour-changing LED. Behind the telly we fitted Govee lighting the owner can set from their phone for the evenings. Every cable runs inside the cabinets, so nothing trails down the wall. The owner helped plan it at home, we hand-cut the Egger board and edged it in our Linwood unit, and our own team fitted it.
