The owners had a bare wall in the front room and wanted the lot built in. We ran the pale concrete-look board across the full width, then set grey oak slats and a white marble panel with light grey veining against it. The grain carries straight from the cabinet doors onto the panel behind the 85 inch telly, so it looks like one run rather than bits stuck together.
A slim linear fire sits in the lower unit with LED that shifts colour, and the panel behind the TV has its own lighting for the evenings. Every socket, the aerial and the HDMI leads are routed inside the cabinet, so there's nothing trailing on show. We cut and edged the boards by hand in the Linwood workshop from Egger board, then came out and fitted it ourselves.
