A near-white textured board with natural oak slats over it, throwing the room light back at you. We fitted this one in a Motherwell living room and it was done in a day.

The room was crying out for a bit of light, so we went with White Chromix, a near-white textured board that lifts the whole space. Natural oak acoustic slats run across it, and we lined the grain up on the cabinet doors and the TV backpanel so it doesn't look like separate parts bolted together. The unit runs 2.4 metres and carries a 65" TV.
A 50" linear electric fire sits under the screen with the colour-changing flame effect, and there's Govee lighting behind the TV panel for a bit of glow at night. All the sockets, aerial and HDMI runs are hidden inside the cabinets, so you don't see a single wire and the boxes tuck away neatly. I designed it with the owner at their own kitchen table, then we cut the Egger board by hand in Linwood and fitted it ourselves.
