The Stewarton wall runs 2m across and went in over a single day. We used White Chromix, a near-white textured board that keeps the room feeling bright, with natural oak acoustic slats over the top and the grain lined up between the doors and the TV backpanel. A tall display cabinet stands on each side of the screen, both with open shelving in the same white finish, so there's proper room for photos and ornaments without cluttering the middle.
A 40" linear electric fire sits below the screen with the colour-changing flame, and Govee lighting behind the TV panel warms things up of an evening. The sockets, aerial and HDMI leads are all fed inside the cabinets, so nothing trails and the boxes are hidden away. I sat down with the owner to plan it, then we cut the Egger board by hand in Linwood and fitted it as a team.
