How the Cumbernauld wall came about

The marble-effect board runs floor to ceiling, which gives the whole thing some proper presence. The fire sits low in the marble base and the TV mounts just above it, and after dark the violet LED behind the slats turns them into a glowing frame.

You won't get this out of a flatpack unit. We measured it up to the ceiling, matched the veining across every face, and hid all the sockets and cabling so there's nothing on show.
