The Borders get the same treatment as the rest of Scotland. Galashiels, Melrose, Peebles and Hawick are all on the round. We come out with the samples to design the wall, build it by hand at Linwood, and our own lads see to the electrics and the TV wiring on the day it goes in.

The cottages and country homes down in the Borders call for a wall built to fit, not one forced into place. We cover the region, from Galashiels, Peebles and Melrose down to Hawick, Kelso and Jedburgh, designing and fitting each wall on a single planned visit.
The Borders is stone-built market towns and country cottages rather than one big city. The mill-town terraces in Galashiels and Hawick and the cottages out in the villages have solid stone walls, tighter rooms and a chimney breast on the main wall, so a wall there is usually built round the breast and the alcoves. Being solid stone the rooms run cool, which is where a recessed electric fire in the wall pays off. We measure each one and build to the room's real size.
If you'd rather do without a fire, doors instead take £300 off the cabinet, built the same way. Tall display cabinets can go down one side or both, 300mm to 1800mm wide.
