This one went into a new-build, and the pale look suits those rooms down to the ground. Pale acoustic slats, a concrete-effect backpanel and matching cabinet, and an ice-blue LED halo behind it all so the wall looks like it's floating off the plaster. The soundbar gets its own shelf, and the wide fire underneath takes the chill off the whole scheme.
We measured it to the millimetre for a plasterboard wall, buried the sockets, tidied every wire away and had the lot fitted in a day with our own team.
