Home turf, this one. Dark slats against a white marble-effect board, built five minutes up the road from our Linwood workshop.
A proper local job for us. Dark acoustic slats wrap the wall, with a white marble-effect backpanel and cabinet where we matched the veining across the faces, and a wide linear fire glowing away underneath. At night the purple LEDs wash the marble a soft lilac, which was the owner's favourite part of the whole thing.
Everything here comes from the standard package: the 3m of panelling, the LED backpanel and the hidden sockets. What changes from house to house is the character you pick at the design visit. This lot went for drama.
